So, what’s this all about? Expression. The opportunity to share my perspective, feelings, and stories I’d like to put out into the universe. Black is my lens, something in recent years I’ve come to appreciate more than ever in the last few years. Also in the last few years I’ve grown into what I call “My full Black self” and comfortable being “Unapologetically Black” something I would not have thought to be important 10 years ago.
This space is Black but not anti-white, race is a made-up construct created by colonizers to oppress a people by a foolish notion that being white makes them superior to people of color. This blog is selfish and at times self-centered.
