“I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!” – Sonya Massey
Sonya Massey saw a demon. Black Christians, no check that, the people from the cradle of civilization, home of original man (woman), can and do have the ability to see angels (our ancestors) and demons from the underworld we call hell. Rebuking is far different from performing an exorcism, the act of removing a demon from a person you are trying to save. The act of rebuking involves the recognition of a demon which although may appear in human form, is 100% demon. Sonya Massey knew it as soon as she saw it.
Sonya Massey called for help. She didn’t expect to see a demon when she answered the door. None of us would have answered the door if we knew there was a demon on the other side. When Sonya Massey opened the door for what she believed was help she immediately recognized this being as a demon. The demon asked, “Can we come in?”, Sonya Massey knew the answer, but the demon had the badge that tells us non-compliance could mean death, we have the right to say no…
Demons can befuddle and confuse which was evident once he was in her home, his questions stopped making sense to her, asking for her license and her last name. Maybe she was no longer hearing the colonized tongue but the true language of evil, which she didn’t speak. But I’m sure she was hearing the screams of her ancestors warning her she was in danger, which may have confused her even more because she had called for help. Who would not be confused if you called for help and conjured up a demon instead?
Sonya Massey was murdered for two reasons, first she was Black and white supremacy is ingrained in the concept of whiteness. Secondly, she could see demons, by invocation “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!”, she didn’t throw hot scalding water on the demon but Holy water that burned him like the famous scene from the Exorcist, so he shot her in the face three times.
The Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council filed a grievance that said the demon was “terminated without cause” and should be reinstated and compensated for lost wages. Demons are always part of a cabal.
